Years ago, I had a studio in my town. Since I don't have a marketing degree, I took a marketing course to learn how to market my business. I recall being shocked to hear we should be spending 50% of our time marketing.
That was over 15 years ago. That number is likely much higher, especially since the Pandemic shifted everything in our world.
Today, it's not "business as usual."
Because of COVID, our businesses have all shifted. At the time of writing this blog article, there are less than six months remaining in 2020. - Once your customers feel you understand, then you can share why you're qualified to help them. Share your authority, credentials, and years of experience. Better yet, share testimonials from happy clients. It always feels better to let other's sing your praises. Just don't forget to do it clearly and without a lot of words.
- With more people working from home, they are going online seeking help for something your company can provide the solution. Over-communicate and share valuable information to help your audience. Don't forget the 80/20 rule. Offer 80% value content and only 20% on promotions and sales. When sharing, stay clear and consistent in all your marketing efforts.
